Poem: Different Yet the Same by Claudette Dean

In your eyes I see the Earth and on your skin
I feel the radiance of the Sun.
Is it the Sea that you gaze upon in my eyes and
The velvety petals of the Rose on your fingertips
When you brush my cheek?
We are different yet the same,
For we are the Earth, the Sun, the Sea and the Rose,
And somewhere between the occident and the orient,
The yin and the yang, the alpha and the omega,
We merge as One in the Infinite Light of Love.
